Welcome to the St. James Catholic School Website!
We strive to bring our School's Mission to life, each and every day. As members of the St. James Catholic School Community, we challenge ourselves and one another to carry our mission forward at school and in the wider community. Our Mission was developed by the members of our school community and we continue to work hard to make our mission explicit in our actions and words. It is our sincere hope that you will see signs of our commitment to faith, family and friends when you meet us, enter our school and connect with us in any way. You are WELCOME at St. James!
Our Mission is a daily focus at our school:
St. James Catholic School community believes and practices Jesus’ teachings. Joined together – children, staff and parents – we celebrate our learning and traditions with
FAITH, FAMILY and FRIENDS in a meaningful and FUN way.
The Staff of St. James Catholic School

At St. James Catholic School, we pride ourselves on being a school of welcome. We want every student, family member and community member to know that they are valued and loved.
At St. James Catholic School, we recall the story of how St. James was called by JESUS to come and follow him. St. James was one of the first DISCIPLES of JESUS. Like St. James, we are reminded to turn toward JESUS and to follow him. We are DISCIPLES of JESUS when we live our lives with FAMILY, FAITH and FRIENDS in a FUN and meaningful way.
Welcome to the Home of the CARDINALS! At St. James Catholic School Community in Seaforth, we practice the Cardinal Virtues of Prudence, Temperance, Justice and Fortitude. Within our faith-filled community, we respect and value the differences of every individual. We encourage each individual to foster and grow his/her God-given potential. We follow the teachings of Jesus Christ and work with the home, parish and wider community to nurture the academic and spiritual lives of our students.
